Waaruit bestond week 4 voor mij (heb een deel niet gedaan):
- Lesmateriaal: Learning by doing, prototyping principles
- Huiswerk: hoofdstukken lezen, reflectieve journaling
Opvallende “techniek”:
Deze week niets nieuws, heb me even geconcentreerd op de theorie.
Inhoud die raakt:
Ik was onder de indruk van het interview met de makers van Scratch. Over de manier waarop ze dat product en die community vorm hebben gegeven. Heb ik al beschreven in eerdere blog.
Verder was ik geraakt door Guest Faculty: Michelle Long, Executive Director of Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (BALLE), on her work as pioneer for a local living economy and for compassionate entrepreneurship. Mooi zoals zij stilte en reflectie in de “boardroom” brengt.
Hier zie je haar aan het woord over het soort economie dat zij voor ogen heeft.
Ik heb die prototyping principes met belangstelling gekeken/gelezen en begrijp ze nu.

Always listen to the universe. The first time I came across this principle was in listening to Alan Webber, the co-founder of Fast Company. And the way when he reflected on his entrepreneurial journey, here’s how he put that.As an entrepreneur, he said, you have to assume that the universe is a helpful place. The universe wants to suggest ways to you how you can improve your idea.Sometimes the feedback you get sucks, he said.But you have to learn which of the feedback actually speaks to your idea and which one doesn’t, and therefore, can be ignored. But as an entrepreneur, you always have to be open to the feedback from the universe on how to improve your idea.
- integrating Head, Heart, and Hand
Integrating the intelligence of the head, heart, and hand.This is what Sue Borchardt talked about in her video clip about the interior castle– how to access the creative capacity of our heart.This is what Steve Jobs talked about in his Stanford Commencement speech. That the only way to do our best work is to do what we love and love what we do. So essentially, the sixth principle is about bringing together two of the most powerful forces,which is the power of entrepreneurship, and the power of the awakening intelligence of the heart.
